How can I help you?

Over New Year’s, I published a video on social media asking people how I might help them in 2023. It seemed like a timely thing to ask, as I suspected a few people might have created New Year’s resolutions related to piano and I love to support people in achieving their goals.

Although the occasion of New Year’s prompted this question, I think it’s important for me to ask all the time, not just at the beginning of the year. Goals come up all the time, and I want to be available to support them anytime they do!

So I’m creating this blog post as an open invitation for you to let me know if there’s anything I can do today (regardless of when you read this!) to support you in your piano journey.

Let me know if I can:

  • Answer a question

  • Record a video

  • Create a worksheet

  • Compose an easy arrangement of a song

By putting in requests like this, you’d actually be helping me achieve my personal goal, which is to improve my skills in educational media development.

The prospect of learning how to harness digital technology for quality education was actually a big motivation for me launching online piano lessons!

One of the most amazing things to me about growing up in the age of digital technology is that help is not limited to scheduling in-person lessons anymore. Using the distribution power of social media, I’ve been able to easily record explainer videos and get them to the people who need them. Using graphics software like the Adobe suite, I’ve been able to create worksheets and share them with people who want extra practice working with a musical concept.

I’m open and excited about ways to further extend piano education using the tools of this new digital age! And I want to get better at it.

So if you have a question, don’t hesitate to reach out. I won’t pressure you into signing up for lessons with me! :) Chances are, if you have a question about learning piano, at least 100 other people also wonder the same thing! We’ll all get better at the things we love—you get better at piano, and I’ll get better at creating digital learning tools. Sound like a good trade? :)
