A lot of the aspiring songwriters that I teach think that their biggest barrier to writing music is their lack of music theory -- but after working with them I realize that their true barrier is worrying about what other people might think of what they create.

A lot of the aspiring songwriters I teach tell me they feel a barrier to their creativity, but don't know where it comes from. This is something I have also felt, and I'm happy to share how I finally made sense of it!
